Are there things you have always wished were different about your smile?
We’ve got you covered! Our wide selection of cosmetic dentistry services can help you get the look you’ve always wanted.
One of the most versatile cosmetic dentistry treatments we provide is dental veneers. Because they completely cover the front surface of your teeth, dental veneers can conceal a number of issues, including gaps, stains, minor chips and cracks, and even teeth that are slightly crooked. We offer many different veneer options as well, including Lumineers, e.max, all-porcelain, and more! If you decide dental veneers aren’t right for you, we have lots of other options to address imperfections. We even offer a teeth contouring treatment to buff out stains and give your teeth their ideal shape.
Are crooked teeth your frustration? We can set you up with Invisalign clear aligners for a perfectly straight smile. Or, if you’re self-conscious about a “gummy smile,” we can use our state-of-the-art NV Pro 3 dental laser to perform a gum reshaping procedure. If it’s your gums that have pulled away from your teeth, we offer Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique gum recession treatment. Yet another cosmetic dentistry option we have on hand is Snap-On Smile. This custom prosthetic gives you the appearance of a perfect smile in a snap! To brighten your smile, try our professional teeth whitening treatment–we even have a whitening for life special! We can even smooth wrinkles in your face with a custom cosmetic treatment.
Pinhole Surgical Technique
WHAT IS PST™?
The Pinhole Surgical Technique PST™ is a procedure in which dentist uses specialized instruments to make a small hole in your gum and add collagen material to stabilize the area of gum recession. This new method is simple, suture-free and minimally invasive.
PST™ was developed and patented by John Chao, D.D.S. It has been featured in the International Journal of Periodontics, one of the most prestigious dentistry journals in the world.
Why Do We Get Gum Recession?
While gum recession is usually viewed as one of the symptoms of gum disease, it is most often unrelated to disease caused by insufficient tooth brushing, overly aggressive tooth brushing, or from bruxism. Gum recession can even be caused by orthodontic treatments.
Why choose PST™?
Unlike gum grafting, The Pinhole Surgery Technique™ is minimally invasive, making it a more comfortable option. Gum recession is traditionally treated using a connective tissue graft (CTG), which “harvests” gum tissue from the roof of the mouth and then sutures it to the affected area. Connective tissue grafts have a longer recovery period compared to PST. An alternative to CTG is the use of donor tissue, but requires intricate suturing.
Benefits of PST™
- Near-immediate cosmetic improvement
- Incision and suture-free
- Accelerated recovery
- One visit can treat multiple areas of recession
